May Festivities at the Shepherd Home

Here are some of the happenings in May at the Shepherd home. The kids all finished up the school year strong. We have our first official Shepherd graduate - Ashley. I can't believe it. We are excited for her and her future. She plans on staying here and going to MCC. She wants to go into their Nursing program. Girls camp is over and Julie is relieved/sad to see it end. I have been the Stake Camp Director for the last 3 years. It has been a blast. I have had the best Assistants and Stake Staff to help me along the way. Thanks to all of you for your help and support. It was a 3 year calling, so my run is over. It was fun, and I hope to continue going to Girl's Camp.
We accompanied Ashley and 5 of her girlfriends to Oceanside, CA for their Senior trip. A week on the beach was a welcome break after a week at Girl's Camp. The boys are doing sports camps all summer. Meagan is doing swim team at Taylor, and all 3 girls are looking for jobs. Time flies when you are having fun. School will be here before we know it. Thanks for checking in on us. Here are a few photos:
