Cute Little Piggy!
Last night as I was getting ready for bed, a little someone came into my room. I looked at Zack and he had big tears streaming down his face. I asked what was wrong, and after some prodding, he said "I don't want to get Swine Flu". I thought he had been asleep for the past hour and here he was in his room worrying about this stupid, media-fueled, crazy, "pandemic." Now I don't want to be too optimistic, but PLEASE...... enough already!!!

Happy Easter
Wanted to wish everyone a happy Easter Weekend. I added this funny video of Max. It was about 4 or 5 years ago. I peaked around the corner to see him dancing to the Napoleon Dynamite dance. He didn't know that I was video taping him. We just came across this video, after thinking it was lost, so hope you get a few laughs out of it.

Good Times!
Thanks to every one for your kind words and deeds done to our family after the loss of our friend and family dog Sparkey. We were given some yummy "Sympathy Salsa" and the always famous "Condolence Cookies." Thanks guys, you know who you are. We made it through one week without him in our home. It has been pretty empty, but we are adjusting.
Here are some photos of some of the fun times happening around here lately. We had a mother/daughter Enrichment at church. Here is a picture of Ash and Megs watching the jump rope. They didn't participate, but had fun watching everyone!

Goodbye Sparkey. . . We Will Miss You Buddy!!!
Sad news from the Shepherd Home. Sparkey our beloved Jack Russell Terrier, was tragically hit and killed by a car tonight. It was even more tragic, because Steve, Max, and Zack were all witnesses to the accident. They were out shooting baskets, when he escaped through the side gate. It all happened so fast. We buried him in our side yard. Zack found some sidewalk chalk and wrote on our brick wall. It was so sweet. Lots of tears were shed as we buried our friend. He truly had unconditional love for everyone. We will miss you buddy! R.I.P Sparks!!!

The Latest from the Shepherds
Here are a couple of photos from 2 of the events in the lives of our kids. Zack having fun at Track and Field Day at school.
Fun at the Ward Family Campout. It was on a beautiful March weekend at Roosevelt Lake. We had a blast and can't wait until next year.

Trip To Rocky Point
Here are some fun photos of our quick trip to Rocky Point, Mexico. We went with our friends the Kemptons who were gracious enough to invite our rowdy crew. My children are officially in love with their two adorable kids Reese and Cash. I was looking at all of my girls pictures they took with their cameras and almost everyone had either Reese or Cash in it! Thanks for the fun weekend Tiffany and Michael. It was a little on the cold and windy side, but we had a blast!

Lunch With Friends
It has been such a great month. I had a birthday, and I was able to get together with some friends from high school to celebrate. Thanks Kim Post-Skinner, Aimee Clarkson-Patton, Holli Wilcock-Gardner, and Alisa Bradshaw-Leavitt, for a fun lunch. It was nice to catch up on each other, and just relax!

Happy New Year Everyone!
I admit I have been a slacker as far as blogging goes. I have my excuses, but I'm sure no one really cares! So I apologize and promise to do better. Here goes. In November Steve, Max, and Ashley all turned 1 year older! In December, Steve and Julie celebrated 18 years of wedded bliss! Where has all the time gone? We had a wonderful winter break from school and work, and are slowly recovering from all the late, late, late nights. Here are some fun photos of what we have been up to the last few months. Sorry there are so many! Enjoy!
